So what is VGME about?

So, want to know about VGME huh? Welcome to the right place!

First of all, without Admiral Treecko or Heartless Bowser this website would've never existed. Although Admiral Treecko is the founder of VGME, most of VGME is currently under Heartless Bowser's control. Zephite, another member and admin of VGME, helps out here and there.

VGME stands for Video Game Music Emporium. VGME is a website that offers tons of Video Game Music. VGME also offers music of the latest games.

VGME was born in 2005, somewhere in June. VGME was first a sort of spin-off of the once so popular VGM community VGMP3, which now is considered dead. VGME today is a fun and little VGM community, which is small, but a thriving place. 

VGME was only a forum in the beginning. Just starting out, almost nobody knew about it. After some advertising and affiliating, VGME became more noticed but still not enough. 

After a while, Admiral Treecko announced that VGME was going to merge with various other tiny communities to become one big place. That place was named The Nintendo Forum Network, under control of  Super Mallow, which is admin of the Super Mario RPG Legacy. Heartless Bowser and Zephite were not happy with this, and thus held a great grudge against the place. They even made a new place, also called VGME. This time, it was named VGMExtreme. That place never grew, and was dead in a few weeks. 

Somehow, TNFN died off, which Heartless Bowser and Zephite saw a chance to bring old VGME back, after some talking to with Admiral Treecko. It worked, and VGME was back. Still, VGME had lost almost everything. So began a new period of building the place. Heartless Bowser suggested to create a website for VGME, and so it was done. VGME finally had a website! 

After everything was sort of back to normal, VGME moved to another forum type, which is more advanced than the current one VGME had. Also moving from webhosts, which was a good step forward. So, Invision Power Board© made way for Simple Machines Forums©, and Atspace© made way for a better webhost.

For a very long time nothing has happened on VGME, mainly due everyone being busy with school. If Heartless-Bowser graduated (which he did) he was allowed to go to college, so his school work was on top priority. 

Now we're working on VGME, making it a better place once again. We encourage everyone to come to the boards and be active!
